Inspired by Brad Blanton’s Radical Honesty.
When the only purpose of the world is seen to be forgiveness1, the only purpose of speech is (seen to be) to reveal oneself.
I learned much from Brad’s book, but I’m now hesitant to recommend it to others because despite making many very good points (a) it’s not particularly well written and (b) I consider Brad’s understanding and practise incomplete.
I’ve procrastinated for years about writing this article.
