Forgive My Blog

animate vs inanimate

I wish perfect happiness for Donald Trump.

This sweeps aside any unforgiveness, and allows my mind to join with his. It is a joy to join with the mind of Donald Trump.

But when it comes to inanimate things, or abstract things, the concept of “happiness” doesn’t really make sense (to my human intellect at least). But for such things I can use “I need do nothing”.

I need do nothing about nuclear weapons.

I need do nothing about the patriarchy.

I need do nothing about climate change.

I need do nothing about my cell phone.

I’m able to join then on the level of the mind with nuclear weapons, the patriarchy, climate change, and my phone.

I hear objections to all these statements, but they are no longer my objections and so I don’t take them seriously:

  • How can you say you need do nothing about nuclear weapons? that is an existential threat we could all be horribly killed by at any moment.

I need do nothing about nuclear weapons.

etc.

More fun examples:

I need do nothing about the DU group.

I need do nothing about racism.

I need do nothing about your mum.

I need do nothing about the washing up.

I need do nothing about my face.

I need do nothing about this email.

I need do nothing about my body odor.

I need do nothing about the guest room.

I need do nothing about the Christmas card from my ex.

I need do nothing about Christmas.

I just found out that the conservatives (UK equivalent of Republicans) won the election.

I wish perfect happiness for the conservatives.

I need do nothing about cancer.
